News and Events

The 2026 Annual Meeting was held Sunday, April12th at 1:00pm.  The club presented updates on improvements, the hunter safety program, the newly added black-light open shoots, and upcoming leagues.  In addition, annual election of officers and directors were conducted.  

Thank you to those who attended and voted for returning officers and directors.  Various clubhouse projects and events were discussed.  Annual memberships are $30.  Team sponsor fees are $60.  Shooting fees are $7 per round.

Captain's meeting for summer leagues will followed the annual meeting at 2pm.  Shooting will begin the following week on April 21st with leagues on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and alternating Sunday mornings.

Summer League 2026 will begin April 21st.  New shooters and new teams are always welcome.  Join us for another summer of spirited competition and fun.  Don't forget the annual meeting and subsequent captain's meetings for all league nights on Sunday, April 12th.

Hunt & Cover 2026 will begin September 2nd.  Shooting will be every Wednesday evening at 7pm for six weeks, ending on October 7th.  Teams consist of two-man teams shooting hunt and cover style from increasing yardage until the final team stands.

New shooters and new teams are always welcome.  Join us for this short fall league and claim bragging rights for the best shooting, refreshments, and fun.  Contact the club to register a team anytime up to September 2nd.

Winter League 2026 operates from October to March.  League shootings starts October 16th, 2026.  Teams are shooting in 2 divisions for the best frozen trigger fingers in the land.  Stop by the club on Sundays to check it out or join a friendly raffle for snacks, prizes or a beverage.  Stay warm and shoot straight.

Shooting starts at 10:00 am.  Join us for cold weather shooting fun, raffles, and refreshments.  Shooters of any age or skill level are welcome.  Note hunters safety is required for any junior shooters under age 18.

New teams and new shooters are always welcome.

CSC will be offering blacklight trap shooting on select Saturday nights during daylight savings time periods (November to  March).  The shoots may be arranged as open shooting or as Lewis class 50 bird shoots.  

For the 2026-27 season, shoots will held on November 7th, December 5th, January 9th, and February 6th.  Shooting typically starts and 7pm.  Contact the club to reserve a shoot time as spots fill up fast and walk-in shooting is generally limited.

CSC offers a hands on Hunters Safety class with certified instructors.   In addition, we add the traditional field day to cement safe firearms handling and hunting practices.  Attendees will be offered the chance to handle and fire guns on our controlled courses.

Check back here or on the Wisconsin DNR site for our next scheduled Hunter's Safety course.  Two courses are offered per year typically in March and July.
